ASE/EM Faculty Participate in Outreach with High School Students on Campus

Several ASE/EM faculty members participated in outreach tours of the Texas Advanced Research Center Vis Lab and the Anna Hiss Robotics Lab. These field trips are the fruit of a collaboration made possible by a project sponsored by the NASA University Leadership Initiative (ULI). The project, Autonomous Aerial Cargo Operations at Scale, is led by Ufuk Topcu, with Karen Willcox and John-Paul Clarke as Co-PIs.

Moriba Jah Receives Rare Election to Royal Society of Edinburgh

Space debris expert and Texas Engineer Moriba Jah has earned the rare honor of being elected to the Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE), Scotland’s National Academy. RSE elected 91 total fellows for 2023, but only six from outside the United Kingdom.
