Undergraduate Advising

Available by scheduling an appointment, we are here to listen, answer questions, and provide resources to support each student as a person as well as a future engineer. For general advising questions, send an email to ase.advising@utexas.edu.

Advising is by appointment only and should be scheduled via Navigate. Please see the schedules below for our advising team before requesting an appointment.

New Students

New incoming students are provided with instructions for attending registration advising during new student orientation. Please register for UT Orientation after accepting your offer of admission. All undergraduate students majoring in aerospace engineering or computational engineering are required to have a laptop that is compliant. Download new student resources, including Gone to ASE/COE presentations.

Current Students

Academic advising is not required unless a student is on scholastic probation or they are enrolled in ASE 320, when a mid-degree check is conducted. During registration periods—typically in April and October—we communicate advising procedures to students by email. To schedule an appointment with your advisor, please email ase.advising@utexas.edu.

Tutoring

Free group tutoring and private tutoring is available on campus. Free Engineering tutoring is available through the Cockrell School, as well as free group and private tutoring options through the Sanger Learning and Career Center.
