This presentation will trace the evolution of the Hybrid eSTOL concept from it’s initial development as an MIT student capstone project to the founding of Electra and the development and flight testing of the EL2 Goldfinch technology demonstrator and the development of the 9 passenger EL9 product aircraft with Ultra eSTOL capability of operating on field lengths of less than 300 ft.
