
Bruce Chesley has more than three decades of aerospace experience across industry, government and academia. He currently serves as Chief Scientist Officer for Quantum Corridor, a startup advancing commercial infrastructure for quantum networking, computing and sensing. He also teaches and consults globally on systems engineering, mission design and digital engineering as Executive Faculty with Teaching Science and Technology, Inc. (TSTI).
During his 20-year career at Boeing, Chesley held executive leadership roles guiding strategy, systems engineering, and product development initiatives. His roles included Chief Strategist for both the Space & Launch and Missile & Weapon Systems divisions, as well as Vice President for global broadband programs.
Prior to industry, Chesley served for over a decade as a U.S. Air Force officer supporting national security space and intelligence missions. His assignments included the National Reconnaissance Office and service as an Assistant Professor of Astronautics at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Chesley is a member of the International Academy of Astronautics, a former Vice President of the International Astronautical Federation, and a 2023 inductee of the UT Austin ASE/EM Academy of Distinguished Alumni. His recent work focuses on quantum communications, space sustainability, cybersecurity and integrated technology applications.
He holds aerospace engineering degrees from the University of Colorado (Ph.D.), The University of Texas at Austin (M.S.), and the University of Notre Dame (B.S.). Bruce and his wife, Julie Chesley, live in Georgetown, TX. They have two adult daughters and a new grandson.
