This year, due to the ongoing global pandemic, students on the UT Design, Build, Fly (DBF) team were forced to make adaptations for the 2021 annual AIAA Design, Build, Fly competition which was held virtually for the first time ever. The team used their innovative skills to design their aircraft and 3D-printed most of the materials to create it. They also built and tested some of the parts from their homes.
