Pablo Cortez has been selected to receive the 2010-11 ASE/EM Department Staff Excellence Award. Pablo is currently employed in the ASE/EM Electronics Shop as a Tech Staff V.
Some comments from his nomination letters include, “Pablo is a first rate electronics technician who is one of our most outstanding staff members" and “he is extremely helpful to all that he encounters and has made a strong impact on our ability to teach our students well in this Department."
“What is so invigorating about Pablo is his enthusiasm to teach people things...” and “….he has been an amazing help to me.”
As recipient of the award Pablo will receive $500 and a plaque. A reception will also be held in his honor.
