Professor Kenneth Liechti has been elected to Associate Fellow of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). He will be presented with an Associate Fellow pin and certificate at the AIAA Associate Fellows Dinner in January 2010.
Dr. Liechti's research focuses on the deformation and failure mechanisms in multilayered materials and structures using a combination of experimental and numerical stress analytical techniques. He holds the E.P. Schoch Professorship in Engineering.
