Bryce Ewalt

The Cockrell School of Engineering selects one student each semester to receive the Outstanding Scholar/Leader Award, which is presented during commencement. Aerospace engineering major Bryce Ewalt was selected to receive this semester’s prestigious award.

Ewalt says that being president of the student chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) was his greatest undergraduate experience because he was able to grow as a leader and have an impact on other aerospace students’ college experience, both scholastically and professionally.

“After graduation, I plan on traveling the world for about four and a half months, visiting over 20 countries,” Ewalt said. “Afterwards, I will be working at McKinsey & Company as a business analyst out of their Dallas office. I'm extremely excited for both!"
