Where is your favorite place to study?

My favorite place to study is in the hallway leading away from J2. I usually study in groups, so this area is perfect. It has a lot of tables and a lot of outlets so that we can plug in our laptops and work.

Who has been your most influential ASE or EM professor and why?

My most influential ASE professor has been Professor Hans Mark because he is very helpful, inspirational and has a unique way of making learning interesting. During class he would tell us stories and facts about different events in the history of aerospace, many of which had to do with him personally. Discovering all the things that he has done in his life inspires me to work harder. Also, he was always available during his office hours and even stayed later to ensure that I thoroughly understood the assignments.

What are some things you really enjoy about living in Austin, TX?

I love being in Austin because there are so many things to do, especially for college students. I like going downtown, to Barton Creek Mall and to the drag to eat and socialize. I also enjoy going to Zilker Park and canoeing. Lastly, the best part about being in Austin is that the buses take you EVERYWHERE!
