Sara Ricke has been selected to receive the 2011-12 ASE/EM Department Staff Excellence Award. Sara joined the department in January 2009 in the position of Assistant to the Chairman and she currently works as an Administrative Associate for the department.

"Sara always has a "can do" attitude. Her spirit, humor, and positive attitude are apparent."

"She always works really hard and never says she cannot do something. She is absolutely a joy to be around and she deserves to receive this award."

The ASE/EM Department Staff Excellence Award was established to recognize and honor staff who have distinguished themselves and who have contributed significantly to the effectiveness of the teaching, advising, counseling, and research efforts of the Department.

A plaque and check in the amount of $500 were presented to Ricke at the annual ASE/EM Holiday Party.
