Student Design Project Requirements

The Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics has implemented new requirements for student design team projects. Please read below for details.

NOTE: Rememer to include the course number and instructor when submitting all information.

Team Name and Member Listing

In Excel format, provide Kendra Harris with your team name and list of members.

Website Requirement

A complete and updated website is required for each student project . The website should include the following:

  • Project Title
  • Need Statement
  • Descriptive Illustration/s
  • Photos/Illustrations of project progress
  • Current Status (update as project progresses)
  • Team Members

For information on how to publish a website on the ASE/EM server, visit http://www.ae.utexas.edu/lrc/ and click on Web Publishing.

Once you have successfully published your website, submit the URL to Kendra Harris. Continue to update the website as the project progresses. A final update should also be made by the last class day, as these sites will be archived, possibly for future use.

Power Point Slide

Each team will submit a Power Point slide to Kendra Harris. This slide will appear on the large plasma screen on the first floor of WRW. Please include the following information on your slide:

  • Project Title
  • Need Statement
  • Descriptive Illustration/s
  • Current Status
  • Website Link
