Two students from the department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics have been selected to receive Cockrell School of Engineering Student Leadership Awards this spring.
David Ottesen, an aerospace engineering Ph.D. candidate, was selected to receive a Graduate Student Leadership Award.

Advice for New Students: UT Austin has many opportunities and value to be had if you can manage your time wisely. As much as reasonably possible, be a dynamic, well-rounded individual.

Erin Shireman, an aerospace engineering undergraduate student, was selected to receive the Marvin Wright Student Athlete Award.
