Nominations / Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Cockrell School of Engineering Undergraduate and Graduate Student Leadership Awards.

Nominations/applications are restricted to:

· Undergraduate Award - Cockrell School of Engineering students with at least 24 hours in residence at The University of Texas at Austin.

· Graduate Award - Cockrell School of Engineering students with at least 18 hours in residence at The University of Texas at Austin.

Previous winners are not eligible to win again. A list of previous winners may be found at the website below.

Cockrell School students, faculty and staff may nominate Cockrell School undergraduate and graduate students who meet the criteria. Cockrell School students may also self-nominate.

Nomination / Application Deadline: 11:59pm, Monday, October 22, 2012.

No nominations / applications will be accepted after the deadline.

Remember, this is a Cockrell School of Engineering Award, so the focus of involvement of the nominated or applying student should be engineering oriented before university.

Selected recipients will be notified in December, 2012 and recognized at a reception ceremony in February, 2013 during National Engineers Week. Their names will be recorded on a permanent plaque displayed on the 10th floor of Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall.
