group photo of seniors with aircraftFor another consecutive year, the aerospace engineering undergraduate program in the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin has been named one of the nation’s top programs of its kind. In the 2022-2023 U.S. News & World Report rankings, the aerospace undergraduate program rose to the No. 8 in the nation.

Additionally, Texas Engineering rose to the No. 9 best undergraduate engineering program in the nation (No. 5 among public universities and No. 1 in Texas).

There are more than 500 students currently enrolled in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics' undergraduate aerospace engineering program, where they participate in hands-on, team-based projects solving real-world problems.
