Professor Hans Mark, a graduate of Stuyvesant High School (SHS), one of the premier science high schools in the nation, will be honored with a "Lifetime Achievement Award" on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at the Etter-Harbin University of Texas Alumni Center.
Mark has served as Chancellor of The University of Texas, Secretary of the Air Force and Deputy Administrator of NASA. He will be honored along with another University of Texas faculty member and alumnus of SHS, Dr. Alan Lambowitz, who serves as Director of the Institute for Cellular and Molecular Biology.

*A Celebration of the life of Sterling Jensen, who taught English, honors English, creative writing and acting at Stuyvesant, and co-founded the Roundabout Theater. The tribute to Sterling will include the presentation of our video produced in his honor.
