Dr. Raman specializes in modeling and simulation of turbulent reactive flows. He graduated , in 2003, from Iowa State University with a Ph.D. in chemical engineering. He was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship at the NASA/Stanford University Center for Turbulence Research. In 2004, he joined the Stanford ASC Center for Integrated Turbulence Simulations and has worked on combustion modeling of aircraft engines and industrial gas-turbines.
