  • Experimental Gas Dynamics/Aerodynamics
  • Hypervelocity Projectile Aerodynamics

Dr. Dolling specializes in experimental gas dynamics and aerodynamics at supersonic and hypersonic speeds. His current work focuses on shock-induced turbulent separated flows, unsteady cavity flows and projectile aerodynamics. He has served on the Cockrell School of Engineering faculty since 1983. He has two years of industrial experience and has published more than 100 technical articles and reports. In 1999, Dr. Dolling was elected to the rank of Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics.

Dr. Dolling's executive assistant in the Cockrell School of Engineering is Sonya Shaffer and she can be reached at (512) 471-7995, shaffer.s@mail.utexas.edu.

Dr. Dolling's senior administrative associate in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics is Donna Soward and she can be reached at (512) 471-5962, soward@mail.utexas.edu.
