Learning Resource Center
The "Front Room" of the Learning Resource Center in WRW 205 has a variety of collaborative work areas.

The ASE/EM Learning Resource Center (LRC) is a general purpose computer lab open to all ASE/EM students and students enrolled in ASE/EM courses. The facility consists of:

  • 22 computers in WRW 205 (the backroom)
  • 20 computers in the WRW Basement
  • Laptop and collaborative space in WRW 205

Laptop Requirement

All undergraduate students in aerospace engineering are expected to have a laptop at their disposal. Laptops are being increasingly integrated into the classroom experience and the Cockrell School of Engineering is moving toward a model where the departments provide space for students to work but we do not necessarily provide the computers to do the work. Most of the work that you will do on a computer will be on your own laptop and so we strongly encourage you to have a system with the recommended specs and software.

For general IT questions, email the ASE/EM IT Manager, Scott Messec.
