Registration

 

 

If you do not stay at the conference hotel (the Portola Plaza Hotel), a Facilities Fee of $400 will be added to your registration fee. We regret this necessity, but hotels and meeting rooms in Monterey, California are quite expensive. In order to arrange for MTDM 2008 to be held in this beautiful resort facility, we had to guarantee that a certain number of rooms will be occupied by meeting participants. Without this guarantee, the meeting rooms could not even be rented for the meeting.

So please make your hotel reservation BEFORE registering for the conference, as you will be asked for a confirmation code when you register. See the Hotel page for information about making a reservation at the conference hotel.

* The student registration rate is allowed only if the student's faculty advisor is also registered for the conference. Student registration does not include tickets to the Reception or Banquet. These may be purchased separately.

 

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, please contact Kate Joly (kjoly@mail.utexas.edu, or 512-475-7760). The schedule for Conference Registration Fee refunds is below (see the Hotel page for the Hotel Reservation cancellation charges, which are separate):
