This presentation highlights opportunities on the ISS for performing research to benefit life on Earth. The ISS utilizes microgravity, exposure to extreme conditions and its location in low-Earth orbit to provide a unique platform which has currently enabled over 2,400 researchers in 95 countries to conduct more than 2,000 innovative experiments. Since 2000, the ISS has supported investigations in biology and biotechnology, human health, and Earth, space and physical science. The presentation also shows how companies in diverse industries are working with the ISS National Lab to use the ISS for commercial research and technology development.
