Welcome!

I enjoy a multidisciplinary teaching and research environment. I work with engineers and scientists to develop satellite and aircraft remote sensing data processing algorithms, applications, and instrumentation.

My interests include:

  • Imaging the earth surface with synthetic aperture radar (SAR)
  • Detecting ground motion using radar interferometry (InSAR)
  • Developing new InSAR processing algorithms
  • Developing inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) algorithms and applications
  • Processing and using Global Positioning System (GPS) data
  • Mapping topography with airborne lidar
  • Using other remote sensing techniques to study the Earth
  • Aiding students in designing satellite and aircraft missions

I conduct collaborative research with several UT groups:

  • Bureau of Economic Geology (BEG)
  • Center for Subsurface Modeling (CSM)
  • Institute for Geophysics (UTIG)
