[] Bimonthly Meetings $100 -
Every other Tuesday throughout each academic semester, UT-AIAA conducts general meetings. Meetings usually include announcements of upcoming branch and departmental events, guest speaker; typically industry representatives, professors, corporate recruiters, or occasionally astronauts; refreshments are provided. Approximately 20-40 members attend each meeting. As a corporate supporter, your company would have the opportunity to speak at one of our meetings. In addition, your company would be recognized on all meeting advertisements. Meetings will be held during the Spring semester. If you are interested in speaking at one of our Spring meetings please e-mail us with dates you would be available to speak.

[] Company Tour $300 -
Once a month, AIAA offers its members an opportunity to tour a company's facilities. AIAA will arrange transportation for a maximum of 30 people to visit your facility. Our members are eager to learn more about your company. If a tour of your plant would be possible, please mark below your preferred tour date.

STUDENT PROJECTS

Design, Build, Fly Competition (Annual Event)
This time intensive hands-on project will provide aerospace engineering students with the opportunity to use their creative Imagination and engineering knowledge to design and build a radio controlled, electric aircraft. The participants will compete in a national design competition.

Rube Goldberg Design Team (Annual Event)
Our AIAA branch is known nation wide for its Rube Goldberg design team. Every year, colleges around the country compete in building an extremely complex and elaborate machine to do a simple task. This is a hand-on project, which uses both engineering knowledge and imagination. This is one of the most popular design contests held at the College of Engineering at UT-Austin as well as at other engineering colleges throughout the country.

As a corporate sponsor to our student design competitions the following are amounts the students have requested.

o $250 - All corporate supporters providing $250 will have their company name placed on the AIAA design team T-shirts and are recognized as a proud sponsor on the AIAA design team web site.

o $500 - All corporate supporters providing $500 will have their company name placed on the AIAA design team T-shirts, be recognized as a proud sponsor on the AIAA design team web site, and have the opportunity to speak at one of our semester branch meetings.

o $1,000 - All corporate supporters providing $1000 will have their logo placed on the design team T-shirts, be recognized as a proud sponsor on the AIAA design team web site, have the opportunity to speak at one of out semester branch meetings, have their logo placed on the AIAA student T-shirt, and receive resumes from all the members of design team.

o $1,500 - All corporate supporters providing $1500 will have their logo placed on the design team T-shirts, be recognized as a proud sponsor on the AIAA design team web site, have the opportunity to speak at one of our semester branch meetings, have their logo placed on the AIAA student T-shirt, receive resumes from all the members AIAA.

The following is a list of basic social events held each semester. Any general donation given will go to support these events.

SOCIAL EVENTS

A major part of AIAA is to provide a social outlet for the aerospace engineers. These social activities are a great way for AIAA to increase its membership, help aerospace engineering students build lifelong friendships, and encourage networking.

Fridays In the Park $20.
Every other Fnday, AIAA arranges a game of volleyball for its members. Approxlmately 10 people participate per game.

Campout $150.
Twice every semester, AIAA plans a campout at a state park in the local area. Approximately 15 members attend these campouts.

Laser Quest $250.
Every semester, a team of about 20 AIAA members plays against another engineering society a game of laser tag.

Broomball $250.
Every semester, a team of about 20 AIAA members competes against a team from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in a friendly game of broomball. Broomball is very similar to hockey, but played with ordinary tennis shoes on ice.

Intramural Sports $6O
Every semester, a team of approximately 20 AIAA members plays in an intramural sports tournament.
