Our last general meeting of the Spring 2004 semester
took place on April 20. The meeting began with officer elections;
the list of new officers can be found here.

Our guest speaker for the evening was
Gerald Miller from United Space Alliance, who spoke about the tools
astronauts use during EVA. He brought several examples, and he
stressed the importance of considering reaction forces, astronaut
mobility, user interface, and the harsh environment of space when
designing such tools.
