Meeting Summary

The third meeting of the semester took place on March 9.  Dr. Glenn Lightsey spoke to us about the research he's currently involved in.  Dr. Lightsey also spoke to us about the University of Texas Satellite Design Laboratory and the projects currently being undertaken there by Aerospace Engineering graduate and undergraduate students.  He talked about about the FASTRAC satellite constellation currently under construction at the laboratory, and also briefly discussed the CanSat picosatellite design competition.

If you're interested in learning more about any of the topics Dr. Lightsey discussed, send him an e-mail at lightsey@csr.utexas.edu.
