The Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering degree requires 128 hours. Although there are suggested course combinations to take listed in the Undergraduate Catalog, almost every undergraduate student in our program will have a different route to graduation. The charts given below are only meant to give an overall picture of what courses are required and the co- or pre-requisites for each course. It is strongly recommended students make an appointment with the Academic Advisor if there are any uncertainties or questions as to how their personal coursework will apply to the degree plan of their catalog.
Undergraduate Catalogs are determined by the first semester a student enrolls at The University of Texas at Austin. For example, if you first enrolled in Spring 2005, you would be in the 2004-2006 catalog; if you first enrolled in Fall 2007, you would be in the 2006-2008 catalog. Students may change their catalog to any other year they were ever enrolled in a public Texas institution of higher education. Students are required to follow all rules under the catalog they decide to follow and rules are subject to change over different catalogs. Catalogs are published every two years online and a student may choose to follow their earliest catalog requirements up to six years from the last year of their catalog.
