Assistant Professor Sean Buckley
to Receive Department Teaching Award

Dr. Sean Buckley has been selected to receive the 2006-07 ASE/EM Department Teaching Award. The Faculty Awards Committee made its selection based on consistently high Course Instructor Survey scores and the fact that aerospace engineering seniors ranked him among their top professors in any field. A framed award and $1000 in cash will be awarded to Dr. Buckley this summer.
Dr. Buckley joined the department in September 2004. He specializes in processing algorithms for interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) and its application to earth surface deformation phenomena. His research interests include synthetic aperture radar interferometry, remote sensing, and satellite applications.
Dr. Buckley is affiliated with the Center for Space Research (CSR).
