Professor David Hull Elected Fellow
of the American Astronautical Society

David G. Hull,
M. J. Thompson Regents Professor
of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, has been elected Fellow of the American Astronautical Society.
Dr. Hull received the award at the American Astronautical Society National Meeting and 52nd Annual Meeting in November of 2005 in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Hull's research focuses on the application of flight mechanics and optimization to the determination of optimal trajectories and optimal guidance laws for aerospace vehicles. He has served on the Cockrell School of Engineering faculty since 1966. He has five years of industrial experience and has published more than 100 technical articles and reports.
Dr. Hull also serves as the Aerospace Engineering Graduate Advisor.
