David Dolling, professor of aerospace engineering and engineering mechanics, will become the new associate dean of academic affairs for the School in January, when Neal Armstrong joins the provost’s office.
Dolling has served on the faculty of the School since 1983, and was the chair of the Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics Department from Sept. 1994 to Sept. 2003. He has published over 100 technical articles and reports, and in 1999 was elected fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
“I look forward to working with him, and I know he will be a great success,” said Dean Streetman.
Kudos to Dr. Dolling from ASE/EM!
