The LRC is open to all Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics students, faculty, and staff, as well as students currently enrolled in an ASE or EM course.
Your UTID is required for lab use and to check out user manuals and equipment.
Permanent storage is provided in your "Home" directory, which is created along with your account. Temorary data storage space is provided on the "LRC SERVER" in the "Public" directory for ASE/EM Faculty, Staff and Students. Permanent storage is also provided for senior design classes (ASE 174M, ASE 161M, ASE 363Q). Please remove your data by the last day of the semester as the "Public" directory is cleaned before each semester. Zip and floppy drives are installed on the LRC computers so you may save to your own media. The LRC does not provide zip or floppy disks, you can purchase them at the Campus Computer Store.
Please save your work often as computers are subject to crash and/or be reconfigured at any time.
Black and white, and color laser printing are provided free of charge for course related activities. The color printer (LRC Color) is restricted to color printouts. Black and white printouts must be sent to the black and white print queue (LRC Laser). Student organizations and individuals must get approval before printing non-class related materials on the color printer. See the Print Quota page for additional information.
Poster Printing:
The LRC has a HP Designjet 800 color poster printer available for course related activities.
