LRC Equipment Reservation Policies and Procedures

Equipment reservation requests are made on a first come, first served basis. Exceptions can be made based on the reservation activity (i.e. instructional related activities have priority over other activities).
Non instructional activities require approval and may have rental fees applied.
The reservation form only accepts hours between 8am and 11pm.
Equipment can only be picked up and returned during the regular operating hours.
To make an all day reservation, request the equipment from 8am to 11pm. If you do not plan on returning the equipment by 11pm, also reserve it for a short period of time the next morning.
Approval is required to reserve equipment for two or more consecutive all day requests during the week. Equipment can be reserved without approval over the weekend as long as it is checked out starting after 3pm Friday and returned by 9am the following Monday morning.
All reservation times will be enforced. Any delay in returning equipment may cause problems with other scheduled reservations.
The laptops are not to be relied upon for personal use as a home computer.
The LCD projector cannot leave WRW without approval.
The person who reserves the equipment is responsible for any and all damages or equipment loss while in their possession, other than equipment failure.
At the requested reservation pickup time, a LRC staff member will print out a Reservation Checkout form and verify it has the appropriate accessories. The equipment requestor will sign the Checkout form before taking the equipment.
The equipment must be returned to a LRC staff member who will verify the equipment was returned with the appropriate accessories. If anything is amiss, the requestor must sign the Checkout form as acknowledgment.
Approval can only be granted by Phillip Baird or Scott Messec.
Failure to comply with the policies may result in the loss of future reservation privileges.
