UT Austin First to Offer
B.S. in Computational Engineering

UT Austin is the first university in the United States to offer computational engineering as a major at the undergraduate level.


 

Andrea Chavez Receives Outstanding Young Texas Ex Award

Andrea Chavez, B.S. ASE 2004, who works as an engineer at Bell Helicopter Textron, received a 2016 Outstanding Young Texas Ex Award. 


 

Gregory Rodin Wins ASE/EM LUNAR Council Teaching Award

Professor Gregory Rodin was named the recipient of the 2016 ASE/EM LUNAR Council Teaching Award.


 

Sarah Kitten Featured in Texas Engineer Magazine

Our academic advisor/coordinator, Sarah Kitten, is featured in this year's Texas Engineer Magazine as an "Unsung Hero."
