Grading
Students Elect a Project or No-Project Option at the time of the Midterm Exam.

 
Project Option:  Homework (20%), Midterm Exam (30%), Semester Research Project (50%), Class Participation (1/2 Letter Grade)

 
No-Project Option:  Homework (30%), Midterm Exam (30%), Final Exam (40%), Class Participation (1/2 Letter Grade)
Prerequisites
ASE 272N or consent of instructor
Important Dates
January 15:  First day of class
January 30:  Last day to drop with a possible refund
February 11:  Last day to drop without academic penalty
March 11-15: Spring break (no class)
May 2: Last day of class
May 9: Final Exam, 2:00 - 5:00
Computer Usage
You may program in the language of your choice. Macs and workstations are available in ASE/EM learning center (2nd floor of WRW) and other places on campus.
