If you need an invitation letter for funding or visa purposes, please email Kate Joly with your name and complete address. A letter will be created and mailed to you, and a scanned version will be sent via email.

Air travel:

Austin is served by the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (airport code AUS), 20 minutes south of UT campus.

Airport ground transportation:

The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is approximately 15 miles from downtown Austin. Ground transportation to downtown hotels is as follows:

Taxi: Approximately $22         
SuperShuttle: $13

Ground transportation to the university area:

Taxi: Approximately $25         
SuperShuttle: $13

Taxis are located at the curb outside the lower level of the the airport.

The SuperShuttle office is on the lower level of the airport. You can find it by going down the escalator and walking to the end of the foyer on your left hand side.
